Default Then Man and his Machines arrived

Photographers Comments
This wheel is about 12 feet in diameter, the machine is about the size of a small house.

Saw this one at Le Mans on the Michelin stand, no machine attached though!! I had some stranger stand by it to give it some scale, it was huge!

Hi Dennis,
If the markings on that tyre are a) in inches and b) correct. That works out at a sniff over 13 feet high, without the stand!

You will need some good strong spoons to fit this tire on the rim

You are about right with the 13 feet in diameter. I just guessed. Now, this tires need to be replaced once in a while. I did a double take when I saw a flatbed truck with a set of four tires with escort in front and back, with big signs "OVERSIZED LOAD". Oversize all right.
Ohhh, I just remember, stamped on the tire it says --- TUBELESS !!!!
