Early on around the otherside of Riverdance
Photographers Comments
This was one of last shots I have taken of Riverdance, today it is completely on its side, must get back and do some more shots tomorrow.
Shot into bright sunlight so I think it come out pretty ok.
Shot at Cleveleys on the Lancashire coast.

I said that I wanted to see the other side of Riverdance. Anyway I love the patterns in the sand, might be worth trying to dull down the two bright orange strips as these really take your eyes. Nice image though, you must have a complete set now.

I love how the final four freight cargo containers are still there hanging on for dear life. Question being, was there any good photographic equiptment inside the other containers not showing?

Hi Agree with Barry great shot, and the sand is brill detail, almost looks as if the ship has been left in the middle of a cobbled street.

You asked for it Barry and here it is LOL, Fortunately I didn't need my waders for this shot LOL, The security there are a nightmare, Of course to stop folks like me getting too close for the odd snapshot LOL, I mananged to sneek along the edge of the sea to get this close.
I will have a go at trying to dull the florescent orange on the bridge of the ship, I agree it is bit vivid.
Yes I have got quite a lot of shots of this ship now.
A magazine called Ships monthly have shown some interest in my pics of the Riverdance after seeing a couple of my shots in the local newspaper.
I'll let you know If I sell any.

Hi Phil LOL, you must be joking mate, the only thing to come off these trucks were B&Q compost and grow bags, Polysterene used for the buiding trade, which I got a couple of shots of 2 lads knicking off the beach, and soggy chocolate digestives, loads of them.... I was hoping for BMW bikes.
Sorry no good photographic equipment either on these ships.

Hi there Dennis, you get some great detail and exposure when doing these HDR shots, the ship would probably have been sillhouetted against the strong sun behind the ship and got very little detail.
Glad you like the shot mate and thanks for the visit.

Hi Nik, It was supposed to have been righted and floated away tis weekend but the weather has turned nasty here and the ship has now listed even more over, it is on it's side now, i really dont know how they are going to move it, the tide doesn't get that high either, they reckon it's going be stuck there for another 2-3 weeks. I reckon they'll have to cut it up, but we'll wait and see, cheers for the interest.

Well your shots of this whole event have been excellent, it would be great for you to get some of your images in this magazine and credited to you. Well done.
