On way home from Yorkshire, i dropped into the National Memorial for Service personnel who have died since WW2 in any conflicts, engraved on the main memorial is every single name and there are thousands and thousands. Bosnia, Falklands, Iraq, NI, all the stuff we get involved with. Makes your blood run cold actually. Lord Mountbatten was the most famous name i could see. But every one are Heroes to me, they fight for us whether you agree with war or not. Click to toggle zoom ![]() |
