Photographers Comments
While photographing pretty things in Newcastle I spotted these lads. I could have watched them all day.

I like this Alan a snap shot of the working day of one of those wonderful people who spend their lives digging up our roads we all know them so well.

I particularly like the reflection of light on the passing vehicle, traffic hasn't been stopped altogether - there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Well....they were finishing off a slip-road from the Quayside onto the Tyne Bridge which has really helped ease congestion at this end of Town.
I like the clours and the dust.

really nice shot, very atmospheric, with the steam coming of the ground and the sun reflecting of the car beyond, well captured. Would be interesting to see how it converts in B & W

I really like this shot Alan Nicely composed . I like the bright splash of colour of the mens clothes in the otherwise grey image , love the dust and the star light refecting off the automobile looks great
