For this sort of Street Photography, I have found the shoot first and ask later Policy works best for the natural shot.

I'm sure he is quite a character Brian. Looks less than happy though. I tend to like candid shots better when the subject is not looking at the camera..

Nice shot and well caught, but I do find that person on the seat very distracting from the main subject.

I think he caught you taking this one Tedz lol.

What an interesting character he is........I "googled" him (as you do lol), what a story there is to tell. He's even got a myspace page which says he's 37 years old...........eeek surely he's older.

My little town has a version of Blanket Man and he has his episodes but being a small town, everyone lets him be ( he does remain fully clothed). He was always glad to visit with me and slowly he opened up about his past. He had a brutal past.

Hi Tedz ... that photo is a lot of food for thought .. Looking at the young gal that is sitting on the bench warmly clothed .. thinking how can that man sitting there with nothing much on in the way of clothing ... other then sitting there with probably shorts and that blanket to sit on .. and really makes you think how grateful everyone should be not to have to live like that. Whether it is circumstances or illness ... makes one really think. .. I will have to look the web page up on "Blanket Man" .... Thanks for sharing this special photo ..

Great shot Brian as always. I look at the man on his blamket and wonder at the stories he could tell and the wisdom he could impart. He looks like he's experienced life and looks strangely at peace with himself.

Oh, a deviation from your mannequin, I see! Looked at him in Wikipedia, looks like he is one famous vagrant.
