Photographers Comments
This is the entrance to the old Jewish cemetery in Merthyr Tydfil. Worth a visit for some interesting photography. One of the largest Jewish cemeteries in South Wales. The grounds were purchased in the 1860s with some reports suggesting that the first burial took place in 1867 and others in Feb 1872. Even in death you are set apart, in your special fold of land on the slope of Cefn Cilsanws. (Grahame Davies) Hear him reading it here... What Rob does do well is give a little write up so you know what he was thinking.
