Very colourful, I presume that lighting must have been poor as you needed 800iso at f3.5. Anyway did you enjoy Vietnam, as I'm off there in December.

Yeah loved Vietnam, didn't stay very long, old Hanoi and Halong Bay were both beautiful and very different from anything I'd seen before.

Didn't really understand what you said, I had my camera on automatic with the flash turned off at the time, if that makes any difference. light wasn't great as it was indoors, but not too bad. i've increased the contrast slightly in photoshop to enhance the colours.

Having your flash turned off has really improved this image, if you had fired your flash then the image would have looked very flat and probably dark in the background. You did well to keep image sharp at 1/30 shutter speed or has your lens got VR.

Hi Garlic what Barry is saying is low f no 3.5, low shutter speed 1/30 and ISO 800 would suggest very poor lighting conditions for the shot. You did really well to get an image this sharp under those lighting conditions, lovely colours.

Love the expression you have caught with the girl on the far right, a very colourful capture.

Nice shot.. catches the moment & that "ordered chaos" of the shop... echo what Tawny spotted ..the expression on the girl in red at right of photo is priceless.
