Just some coal with a flower. I like experimenting

Hi Maureen,
you are really starting to put things together with great effect and your imagination is working overtime in your favour. The lighting here appears good, maybe a little too much shadow behind the coal on the right of the image, but a small white card reflector should bounce back the light to help eliminate that. It does appear to be a little contrasty, and I would have liked to have seen more DoF to allow for better front ot back sharpness. However, very creative and well done.

Thanks for the feedback Phil. I agree it is a little contrasty upped it but wasn't sure if it was too much.

Thanks for the words of encouragement too they are very much appreciated. I love photography and want to keep improving and produce images to the high standard I see from many folk on here. Will keep plugging on
