I like the atmosphere of this dark image, but would have liked to see a bit more of the Son and bikes (as the green jacket face and helmet of the father appears ok). Or is it that my monitor is a bit dark.

Agree with Barry, nice image but appears to be very dark on my monitor, usually i dont comment because its a laptop and the screen isnt Brill. Its the son who is dark on my screen as well. Nice Image though mate.

Thanks guys,
it does appear to be a bit dark around the little boy here, I will put that down to image reduction and upload. The original full sized version is much punchier.

I glad that I'm not alone with this, as I sometimes wonder how other people see some of my images where large amounts of the image is dark. As I have seen some of my Infrared images on others peoples monitors and they seem very bright and washed out (but that applies to other peoples images as well on that monitor).
I have only calibrated my monitor using a colour chart , but feel that I would not want to alter it anyway as the prints I get from Photobox match my monitor perfectly (so what I see, I know that is what I will get).
Sorry Phil for going off topix with your thread.
