just a picture i took. i went through a phase of taking normal pics and trying to put a edited light source in them and keep it looking natural. i understand that this isnt perfect and so any points you have to make will be welcomed

Looks a bit false Mate as the light looks like it's sort of in front of the trees,did you use layers???
If not try adding the effect on one layer then stick the original on top and have a play with different blending modes to see what you come up with...

Yeh i agree there the light does come through a bit
I did use layers, i tried to lay the branches right ontop to cover any light but it proved to difficult to differentiate the branches as its a tree and there are so many small ones. although i may have found a way around that, youll see that in my next one
