Default Vampire foetus inside the garlic bulb???

Photographers Comments
A macro shot of a garlic bulb (purchased in a shop). Six manually exposed shots stacked in Helicon. Then applied Fractalius filter to it. The filter made some of the skin look like a foetus. I take this as a sign of the devil! Freaky, or what? Not even that Master of weird, Paul Cook could have dreamt this one up (I shall live to regret that).

Very nice effect, love the dark background giving the effect that the garlic is just floating.

Ahem! Master of weird? Thanks (i think...)

Anyway, this is really great. It would have been so easy to have made this a good, but relatively un-interesting shot of some garlic, but the work you have put in has transformed it into something much more appealing!

The glow is superb and the contrast against the black background really grabs your attention. My only 'concern' is that you may be trying to steal the 'weirdness' crown, so i'm off to have a look through my cupboards!

I feel a challenge beginning;

In the blue corner Carregwen:

In the red corner Paul Cook:

Who's the champ? and who's the contender?

Who knows let the game begin
