Default Paddington station

Photographers Comments
Dis-satisfied with a straight larger version - first cropped it, then tried the effect of cutout in Elements. The art deco effect seems apt for a travel pic.

Yikes! I've bee teleported back to the 1960's! Looks like tie-dye. It's pretty effective in a graphical way, and does work. Don't show this to any 'Thursday Night People'* as I call them, they will have a fit if you call it photography!

* Camera Club people (they always meet on Thursday nights)

Hi Anthony,
I like the effect here, maybe would have changed to a mauve combination. As stated very sixties art deco/retro look. And not a Darkest Peruvian bear in sight.

Likewise I like the effect you have produced here. A little bit of colour might give it that little more punch, like Phil says maybe a little colour cast of some kind.

ps Have gone back and looked at it again and again, and not sure now if I prefer the mono effect.

Very effective mate. Well done

love this effect, looks like an old advert, just missing the text. cracking as it is, it would be equally good in colour.

Thanks to all of you. Have decided that photography or not, my aim is to fill the four two dimensional sides with something that makes a gripping and lovely print. Best wishes, Anthony.

Good artistic effect but i think bright and punchy colours would make this leap off the screen. nice work though

Sincerely grateful for all your comments and interest: cannot see this in colour myself but will try (TCO - I may be someone else tomorrow, be warned!) NB the original is landscape, seems to have squared in downsizing to upload.
