Battery City by night
Photographers Comments
All seems quite in this shot of Battery City with a reflection in the Exide River. If this connects with you, I hope it gives you the charge you need.
Shocking stuff!

Good idea mate. Did you try any other angles?
Maybe a slightly lower one.
Actually this is a really good idea..I may have a go at this one myself.
I have a plugin around here somewhere mate by flaming pear. Does reflections and water effects etc... Have you heard of it? Seeing this I think you would have a lot of fun with it. Unless of course you already have it

I got the idea from a similar shot I saw of a city skyline made up of nuts, bolts and other bits of hardware. I wanted to do something different. Have not come across flaming pear filter, but I do have the Redfield filters that do ripple effects extremely well. Water Ripple is free, and Ripples Magic is about a tenner. I got the link from Lisa originally. This battery shot though had no filters applied. I set them up on the top of my induction hob in the kitchen - black ceramic glass, and very reflective.
Photoshop Plug-ins by Redfield
Glad you like the shot.
