Default Playing with layers

Photographers Comments
Fantasy pic made up from 5 different images in layers and with the additional use of history brush, eraser, dodge and burn tools. All processed in Photoshop 7




Serious Critique Required: The photographer has requested he/she would like a more serious level of critique for this image to obtain more constructive critiscism from other members. Please make sure the comments you leave are indeed constructive and aim to help the photographer see the image from a different perspective and/or provide help and guidance to how the image can be improved.

Excellent PS work. I can see a little bit of a glow around the head and down her back which I am not too keen on. The other comment I have is I think the foreground water would have been better if not blurred. Try another version with a coloured globe, that should look OK.
Really nice work indeed.

Thanks xp1,
I'll re-try without the obvious dodge tool halo, and I may try to hand colour the globe rather than a solid block of natural colours to keep within the feel of the original.

Really like this Phil,noticed the slight blurring round the head but apart from that it looks great mate.

I really must start playing again with PS not done anything major since my avatar at xmas,hoped the Image Factory would wet my appetite but this image has made me think that i need to start playing again.....Cheers fella.......

I never get credit from my wife but she commented in the possitive on this image.
