Hi Genese, hope you are doing ok
Here's my 2p worth lol. I love the position of the people and the way they are standing and "watching" something, makes you wonder what. I like the soft BG too. I just can't make up my mind about the grasses. i like the black and white with how it plays with the stripes on the outfits too.
Big hugs, hope to catch up again soon. Loopy.

Well I like it, I like the way that your subjects are looking into something that we can't see, which leaves it open to whatever we want it to be. and that tall grass/bulrushes or whatever sets a nice dividing line. Plus it works very well in monochrome.

hmmm.... not sure. I like the grassy stuff, and I like the peopley stuff ... I just find myself wishing they had feet as their lack of feet makes the picture, for me personally, feel a little incomplete.

I like it Genese. I like the angle of the 2 figures and as Else commented I'm wondering what they're looking at. Also like the mono treatment. It's natural too which always works for me. I'm not fond of studio portraiture.

im not big on overly posed shots unless they are for a frame on someones wall or for advertising, more natural shots contain more emotion for me personally... thank you x

Hi genese, I can relate to this shot, from doing shots of people in state parks. I like in done in Mono and with the stripes in the clothes. the grass to me add to this shot, it lets you wonder what the people are looking at is it some wildlife or peope doing something they enjoy. Photo has a natural feel to it.
