Had a go at processing a RAW image and decided to have ago at being more creative but not sure if this works. What do you think?

Hi Maureen, sunny in tipton today (been down my mums in wednesbury)I had a go at candles earlier in the week and the guys all said how difficult it is to do due to the dynamic range (light to dark in english. Can you put the un-altered shot on to have a look at as i find the red doesnt work for some reason. it maybe the red border i find my eye drawn to that.

Anyone else got any comments??

I too find the red border distracting Maureen and here am I about to upload a red pic myself (tomatos & chilli)........I would love to see it without but if you feel it need it perhaps a darker shade would be better, or even just black.

The candles look great by the way and I love the flames reflection in the molten wax!

Hi

Like the shot - very difficult to get flames right - you have done well. I think it needs a border, but you could try a much thinner red line, then a wider black on the edge.
