Hi Lorraine, I like the composition and the way that the road leads you into the image, but personally I don't think that the solarise option has improved this image. It's all of those pink bricks.

Default Hi Lorraine

Hi Lorraine,
I like the effect you have used - (is it poster edges?) I like the way it brings out the texture in the cobles. I personally think that the saturation is too high, if you lower the saturation you will get a more earthy feel and the oranges and sky will not be so intense. I like the way you have brought out the detail in the shadow area - that is obviously quite a dark area in the original pic so you have done a good job there and the composition of the image is great.
nice pic.

I like the composition and the details are very good, I like the effect on the stone road and the building I think the pink may be distracting, taking away from your picture, you could select those areas and change the color using hue slider or color balance.

It is alway fun to try diffent things. I like the lead in the photo and like the way the detail shows up. Maybe just take the saturation down just a little or recolor the pink in the pebbles..

Thank you all for viewing and the comments, i did struggle due to the lighting to get the right colouring/saturation effect. I'll have another go and try to see what i can do re the pink bricks/roof tops and i'll also post the original too. Big huge thanks again, practise makes perfect and it was fun to try a different effect. Glad you all like the leading lines, it's something i've been trying to work on with regards to composition etc.
