I tried my first IR shot - didnt have a bright sun - mostly no sun at all - someone must have anticipated I was trying my new filter

Hi Suvendra, I see that you took the plunge and went for it. Looking at this image it looks as if you are shooting into the sun, if so this does not work very well in IR, because when shooting IR you are only recording what infrared is being reflected so you need the sun behind or to the side of you.
