I love the colours and I like your composition as well, I may well have a crack at this myself. What did you do for lighting??

Nice image Dave, love the rich colours and composition great light too. I like the second one best as it looks a lot sharper.

Thanks Carl, I just used a retangle angle poise desk lamp with a day light tube in it

First one for me, I think the composition is better. The position of the CDs does make a difference.

Thanks Mark, but these shots arent related to Carls article in the least, it was my own idea, no water or oil involved, did you mean to reply to my other post which is related? Clicky Linky only bar the CD which I use quite a lot in my images
