I think you need to sharpen this a little to make the abstract of the tree more prominent against the red background.

A great abstract image but yes may benefit from being sharper.

the image above isnt right as i didnt have it on this pc..so i had to fiddle with a copy from my site ..which messed up the size and resolution... ..in any case i am more interested in composition than sharpness.. but i understand what you mean in terms of impact..

this shot has been a study and gone on to be a painting... which you can find on my site under 'my art'..is called 'touching red'...i think..
