Hi Graham, thanks for your comment, I'm off out soon, but will post a attachment of the original image tomorrow for you to see.

nice image there barry, nice subject and great composition

i think your loosing detail a bit in the grass at the front though, i notice from your original photo its still quite red, have you done a custom white balance on some grass in bright sunlight? this will give a greatly improve the detail in the photos and help not to loose details in the bright bits of grass etc, when i did this on mine it was a great help i keeping things under control

I think the out of the camera image addresses my concerns about the posted image, all of which were minor. The final image seems to be a slight crop which loses part of the big tree to the right, part of the gravestone to the right and part of the gravestone to the left. I would have preferred the final image to retain the tree and gravestone to the right in their entirety while losing all of the gravestone to the left. I know that's really nit picking comment for what is a stunning treatment of a beautiful building. I think the image is about the church and the tree, so I want to see all of both of them.

Thanks Dave, I have got my white balance set to 2000, but I agree that some of the detail has been lost, I must play a bit more with this post production stuff, as a lot of your IR images are really great.

Hi Russell, I agree with you about the tree and gravestone, this was lost when I had to distort the image to get the walls of the church upright, this is because I was shooting from a low level using 18mm focal length. This church is not to far away from me so I may well go back if I'm free when weather conditions are fine for IR photography. But thanks for your comments, as it makes me look at my images again with a different view.
