Default Bloody Vista!!!

When i used Xp you could hilight all of your pics and click on sort by date taken but on Vista i can't.
You can drag and drop in the order you want them, but if you have a lot of pics it takes ages and when you go back in they have moved again???

I have googled and searched lots of forums for an answer but to no avail...all i want is my holiday pics in order to view is this to much to ask (doing it in bridge is just to slow).

So my question is this "can it be solved"??? or doe's anyone know of software to view and sort stuff where it will stay sorted???

This is doing my ed in!!!...

Regards Steve.

Yes very helpful Basil... 2 operating sytems???

Apart from this niggle i like vista it's great once you get used to it but obviously the good people at Microsoft are not that bothered about photographers...when i looked on forums there were hundreds of disgruntled Togs out there with the same complaint.

Perhaps i should get SUPER PAUL TO EMAIL THEM FOR ME...

If you click on the date toolbar it gives you different options in Vista. You can even stack by date taken all in Vista
