old lens

Can anybody help me please I have a collection of old lens from my film cameras I have a Nikon-m42 mount but I can’t get my camera to work with them I’ve tried every setting I can think of still no luck the lens are in perfect condition and work fine on my film camera any ideas.

Hi Bryan, These older type lens will not work as autofocus with the D50, but should work using manual focus. You may need to set the aperture on the lens to it's largest number like f35 or whatever.
