Memory cards..
Hi guys, whats the best memory card to get for my Nikon D60? SD etc.. I see it can take a variety of types, I dont want my choice of card to slow down the operation of my camera. I also would like it to have a large capacity too - thanks again

i am not sure if it will fit your camera mate but i have a Sandsik Extreme 3 8Gb and i love it with my Fuji 9600 it gives me either 1785 shots on 9MbFine or 10001 on 3Mb and a nice 62mins of video at 640x480 at 30fps, its also got some ducati sales pitch with it due to the transfer speeds

Sandisk extreme 3 cards should suit you fine, but personally I prefer to have more smaller sized cards like 4gb, so if one was to fail (very unlikely but it could happen) then you have only lost the images on that card.

unless you need the download and write to card speeds dont bother with the newest cards. we use extreme 4's 2GB and firewire download as i need the cards turned around fast. around 60 secs for 2GB raw. if those are not your parameters then go for extreme 2 or 3 and stick to 4GB or under.
