Ah rightyho, it'll be a 4BG SD card I'll go for then. They range from 16 quid to over 40 quid on the site Im ordering my camera from. Will the 16 quid one (Toshiba SDHC) function a lot slower than the more expensive one? Should I go for an expensive one? Here is the page with my options

I have the Transcend 4GB Class 6 in my D80, never slows the camera down. When I first got it I pointed it out into the garden and took a 45 shot burst, it wasn't going to stop so I gave up.
Cost me £20 off Amazon, £7+p&p now, mine has a blue sticker, seems to be green now, I doubt there is a difference.

Think i would be tempted to go for one of the bigger manufacturers Sandisk/Lexar, saying that have never used anything but Sandisk so have'nt really got the gen to comment on the others,the way i saw it was that it seemed to be the most used by tog's Pro & Amateur so the majority of people can't be wrong.
I would rather pay that bit extra and have the piece of mind!!!

As for speed not sure what classes equate to but obviously the higher the speed the faster it will write to your camera and will be read by your computer....

I had about 5 minutes left in my lunchbreak on Tuesday and rather hastily bought this;

7dayshop.com - Online Store

what do you think? Should I have been more patient or is it a good one? Seemed like great value, a respected manufacturer and a good size card. Just hope its fast...

You mean that you purchased the memory card before the camera, well that is forward planning. You had better get down to the shops tomorrow and spend .
