Default Old lenses and their compatability with new cameras

I have 3 old lenses made by Miranda that I used to use with my Canon AV1 as well as an old flashgun too. Would these be compatable with my new (as yet unpurchased) Nikon D60? I realise they won't auto focus but thats not too much of a problem. Also, if they are, what would you recommend I do with them first, get them professionally cleaned or serviced? Id hate to ruin my new camera with old lenses... Thanks a lot - again! Invaluable source of knowledge this site!
