When reading EXIF information what does CCM width mean

Just googled it Len and the only reference to it was your question. Not sure but is it something to to do with the chip size? that is usually CCD though

Ahh now i'm with you CCD stands for charged coupled device,it's the type of sensor your camera has,these are being rapidly replaced by CMOS sensors which are much cheaper to produce which is why camera prices are coming down.....
