Default memory card

hi all, am looking to get another memory card for my olympus e410 and was wondering what the difference is between the xd memory or compact flash cards? any tips or guidance welcomed,cheers.

they are just different formats, your camera will accept either. The xd cards are smaller than a compact flash. I don't think that one is better than the other. So go for the cheapest. I always use https://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/def...o=SEARCH&comp= for any of my memory cards.

If time isnt an issue when downloading any card will do. if you shoot raw and need fast download get a lexar x133 minimum or sandisk extreme 4, mind you that was about 4 months ago i last checked those speeds..

i use PICSTOP mate it's on the channel islands so you don't pay vat or tax!!! takes a few days to get here but haven't found cheaper yet.
