Default Sigma wide angle lenses

Hi
I am thinking of buying a wide angle lense and was wondering if anyone has or is using a Sigma 10-20 m. I have heard it is good value and would you recomend one.

Hi Steve, I use this lens a lot, it has excellent image quality and is very good value for money although I would not bother with a polarizing filter for this lens as it has too much of a wide angle and your blue sky will change from deep blue to light blue from one end of the photo to the other end.

Like you I use it on a Nikon body. So I would recommend it.

D.O.F. is massive at these focal lengths, you'd do well to buy a soft lens...

Default Sigma 10 - 20

I'm another one that highly recommends the Sigma 10 - 20. Mine is a cracker, and one of my most often used lenses.

I have been borrowing the Sigma 10-20 for the past few months from a friend and I love it. I don't want to give it back!

Here are some of the shots I have taken with it
