Sorry mate, I quoted it from memory, for some reason I thought the D300 was 14.1MP, the point still stands though.

i actually preferred the extra width i got moving from a d300 to d700 making my 14-24mm wiiiiiide
![]() The length never bothered me as i dont actually shoot birds, but the iso capabilities are outstanding which i find im using a lot, so for me it was a great upgrade, i did have full frame glass to go on it before hand though

Most of my glass is full frame suitable except my Sigma 10-20 and my Nikon 18-200VR. So this is not so much of a problem if I decide to go that way.
