santa brought me a......
Canon powershot SD870 IS WOW! I have lots to learn but this is my first shot I put the Snow setting.. your comments & any help is appreciated... this was taken after a new snowfall..today
I posted it in jpeg format although in a larger format is seems s  o much nicer... I am a neewbie here so jump right in with your comments..

Hi Rose, it seems that you are happy with your new camera. Nice to see some snow, we are a bit lacking in it over here at the moment. Anyway as for your image you don't have any foreground interest, it would have been nice to see a park bench, small tree or a person just to have something to focus on, the background is fine although sky looks a little bland but not much that you could do about that.

Hi Rose, If you cropped the shot, so that the top third was the picture and enlarged it, it would look better, just my opinion.

Since John and I both own several cameras and both have a Nikon D40 I gave him the Nikon D40X so that when he took a nap and I walked Willy.(our dog )I could snurf it..lol So guess I gave me a new camera also..lol
