I have an FZ50 and have bee thoroughly pleased with it. I agree about the noise at high ISO.
I carry my FZ50 with me all the time so as never to be in the position of missing a shot.

Most of the images in my gallery, with the exception of Mill Office have been taken with either My FZ50 or my old FZ7 (Now sadly stolen)

dont give up on the idea of a dslr, i picked up my nikon d40 for £209 including the kit lens by hunting for bargains (found a shop that was closing and got 30% off) bear in mind that canon prices may also drop due to the 450d coming out, definately worth a poke around first

I have a Fuji Z7000 DSLR which is a very good camera but I fancy buying a Pan TZ5 compact so I am in the market for some input regarding how good it is etc....please
