Default S5 Pro ???

Been thinking about getting a second body and have been bidding like a demon on Ebay for a D200,but today have seen an add at CameraWorld for a Fuji S5 Pro for £449 with a free extIII 4G card.

I now a lot of wedding togs swear by them as colours & skin tones reproduced by Fuji's sensor (albeit in a D200 body) are very very good???

Anyone had or indeed know anyone who has had experience of the S5??? and what do you/they think??? as i am really tempted for £450 for a new spare body...

i have read loads of reports that this is top stuff for studio portraits, its does take a few seconds for the camera to process a dr picture, you can set a % of dynamic range and at 400% you can wait for a photo to write to the disc, its not the speediest camera in the world, its a d200 body so all the switches are sooo familiar to a Nikon user and it is a good body

I think Fuji make ecellent cameras, i have the fuji S7000, albeit a compact the picture quality is superior, if i had'nt of got my Canon kit i would of definately gone for the S5 pro, and at that price its a good bargain.

That's funny... I too have been thinking about getting a second body, and my wife agrees. In fact, she said I should get a second, then get rid of the first. What does she mean?

Why not divide them - send one out to work each day, and leave the other at home to take pics and watch the Nigella vids?

Err, don't think Denny would survive that with only half the blood supply, a few mins in he's likely to pass out
