I'm not a member of any sports clubs either but I nearly had the opportunity of helping our local councils parent network with event photography and I was supposed to had it via them but due to lack of organisation on their part things didn't quite work out the way I had hoped.
I may approach them again though to re-offer my services for their organisation and try it that way.
I can't think of any other way..... I stay in far too much!! (

I thought it was the organisation who employs you who has to request the check (confusing)

the NHS made me pay for mine... but it lasted for 10 years which i found really daft! i could have been out raping and pillaging for 10 years after my check before they caught me! its another government con!

Hi Paul CRBs are only valid for the club organisation or employer that has obtained them on your behalf from what I was told.... Each organisation that requires you to have a CRB need to get one for you. Also you only need a CRB if you are going to be left alone and in sole charge of the children. So if parents or teachers etc are present then you do not require one. This is how it was explained to me. Hope this helps...

No worries Mick, But what is the enhanced bit... And lets face it it is not worth the paper it is written on a CRB only protects from know sex offenders. This world has truly lost the plot and it is such a shame.
