House On The Hill
This house is about a mile away from the road on the way out of bath going towards bristol and wanted to take a few snaps of it for ages so stopped and took a few night shots on my way home last night useing my 70-300mm lens.

Fantasic sky mate. But the shot looks out of balance for me. If you ever frame it it will lose even more image at the bottom.
I like the exposure and the idea is there, but its not quite hitting the mark for me.

I've got to agree with Tco, i'm afraid. While i can see what you were trying to achieve, the composition is unbalanced and therefore loses impact

no problem guys i was not sure what to do at the time so i took pictures up close far back in the middle and so on and for some reason they were all lacking something which is why i went for this picture as it has a little more to it other than just a house with light on it.

Why not give it another go? and i know it might be breaking the rules of photography but what about sticking the house in the middle and a letterbox crop?....

I may well do that and the house is also lit up from the other side so i am trying to find a spot to take a picture looking down on to it rather than looking up like the other photo.
