Hi Maureen

I like the simplicity of this image.

Don't shout at me as you know I'm a beginner but the figure seems blown a little. Is it or is it me??

Nice shot all the same

Len

Maureen

The fine detailed stonework at the top of the column is nice, but you need to show more of it. Stonework is a little blown, as stated. I would have turned camera 45deg and shot it so the column formed a diagonal from corner to corner. As it is it tends to divide the shot. Sorry to be picky, ignore me if you want.

Thanks for looking Rob and for the constructive comments. Not sure about the diagonal shot but agree with everything else. I have another version where I managed to salvage the blown highlights and show more of the detail in the stonewrk but it's not at a 45' angle LOL
