Nice shot, camera in P mode i would have dropped it into aperture priority to ensure it was in focus through the whole range say at least f15 at that distance. cropped some sky out so the main focus isnt dead centre. Or cropped the foreground to just before the first 2 stumps.

As i say i am no expert and others will contradict me, its personal chioce at the end of the day.

I'm not going to contradict you Dennis cause I was thinking exactly the same thing. If you crop to just before the two front posts it gives you a much better lead into the picture.
