Welsh Millennium Centre Reflection
Photographers Comments
I've bagged a few shots of the WMC building over the few years its been there in Cardiff Bay however this is the tower opposite with a reflection of the WMC. On every other visit I've made it has had water cascading down its surface however yesterday, for some reason, it was turned off giving this alternative take on a building thats loved & hated in just about equal proportions.
Incidentally, if you dont know the location, the base of this mirrored tower is the entrance to Torchwood ....... whaja mean its not real!! I've been there
Dave
p.s. the surface is a bit grubby in places do you think I should clean this up or leave it natural?

If you mean those spots on the glass, i would have cloned them out if there isnt too many. like the shot by the way. And if that you taking the picture bottom right i would try and get rid of that as well lol Looking at the angle it might not be!!

Cheers Dennis,
OK the grubbiness will go No, the figure taking a shot is not me (I should be so slim! or young! ) I felt that the figure gave a sense of scale to the whole thing? perhaps? perhaps not.
Here is the whole tower form a separate shot .....

Such an unusual building Dave. My son loves Torchwood (so do I, well Captain Jack actually!) so this building is so familier to me.

What a neat Building and reflection. The Gentleman does indeed add scale to this and the cotton wool clouds merge oh so nice.

Very strong colours here, and a nice angle. I spent several hours last year cloning off the dirt from my image of it. The water is turned off for maintenence, I think.

TVM for all your comments folks, appreciated.
If you ever get down/over/up to Cardiff with an hour or two to spare then Cardiff Bay is well worth a wander around for a few snaps.
Cheers, Dave
