Default Better days

Photographers Comments
Went back to the derelict house I found the other week and took some more shots with a more interesting sky as a backdrop this time.

Comments welcome!

Better than the last shot you took Maureen, my only comment would be the cloud is blown out with no detail. I found this is so difficult when i had to take pics of clouds as a PP. You have to expose very carefully to keep any detail in at all. The area above and right of the chimney has lost all the cloud detail. But better than the lost one. Do You shoot raw? if you do you can sometimes recover some of the detail.

Thanks for the comments Dennis very much appreciated. I do shoot RAW and think I will have another go at this. I wasn't too sure about the processing thought I made it look a bit washed out but wanted someone elses eyes as I felt like I was going crossed eyed looking at it LOL

You'd think the clouds would have arranged themselves better for you seeing as you went back to try again.....LOL!

Only joking, I do prefer this one

Hi Anne, I think the processing on this was all wrong and I ended up with a blown sky that wasn't that way originally. I've since had another attempt at processing and I think improved things...LOL
