Aperture seems too small and the foreground ended up blurred, if you had stood on said stones in foreground and shot maybe F11 it would have been sharp across the whole shot. I am no expert far from it but i would have moved nearer and left for the shot. If light poor you may have no choice if you didnt have a tripod. Shutter speed quite high though!!
Hope i am not over critical!!

Denny Boy, the criticism's fine.
I agree with moving to the left, I think that would have made a better shot, I can't remember if I had that room or there was a large wall there.
I didn't really want to be climbing on an 11th Century ruin so opted to choose an aperture that would result in the foreground blurred, perhaps I should crop the fron row of stones out.
Tripod broken! (Got it replaced now).

Steve

Hi Steve, you have said it is Ok to edit your images, so I have taken the liberty. I hope you don't mind.
I really like the picture. I don't mind the fuzzy foreground, but overall I thought it was a bit flat. Here is my interpretation, what do you think.
Cheers Rex

Hi Len,
Did you like it or do you think I went a bit overboard?
I am afraid I can't remember all the steps, but just a few layers in PS. I will try and recreate it and publish the steps.
Cheers Rex
