Hi Fiona,

I really like this one!!! and i'm not that much for B&W even though i'm trying to get into it a bit more..

Very nice composition, good exposure but i would straighten it up a tad...seem to be saying that a lot to people in crits just lately (maybe it's me thats wonky???) HAHA.....

Hi Fiona, not as stunning as your railway carriage (i liked the string, photos can be too perfect, ans sometimes perceived imperfections make them better) I do like this though and perhaps steve has a new nickname "wonky donkey" because it looks dead straight to me. Nicely in focus right through the image, the converging rails make you think where does that lead to?

Nice shot.

It must be Steve's monitor that is wonky, tell him to stick a couple of beer mats under the one side. Image looks fine to me as well, but I do like monochrome, you have got good strong foreground in this image (although there is something distracting on the first step towards the left), and the bridge takes you eye into the image, but then it stops, and you have to start looking around. But saying that I do like this image.

I love b&w and this fantastic, great symmetry (spelling?) and i love the texture of the wood and stones, i do agree with what Ogofmole said and maybe shooting from a different angle either higher or lower would have allowed you to crop the background more but i do think that would have lost the gorgeous curve of the bridge.

Nice image Fiona. I think you have done a super job of the conversion. The perspective is very effective and it works very well. I really love the image. There is one little thing that I can't take my eyes off for some strange reason. On the bottom step to the left there is a sickle shaped shadow. Is it a photoshop anomaly or in the original pic? Its nothing really but once seen I found myself looking at it more and more wondering what it was.

Fabulous image still! And, like I say, i really like it heaps!!!

Well done.

I love this, but would have to agree with TCO. Do you have this as a landscape view? Or would you be willing to crop to see if you like it as a landscape image rather than a portrait one?
