Here are some pic's I took at a place I used to play as a kid aged around 8 or 9.
It was devastated by Henry the eighth during the reformation.

I like the bottom one with the arches. The top one needs better light either morning or evening sun to give some shadows and dept to the image.

What a different country we would have with out Henry, but would it be richer or poorer for photographers? Of course we'll never know.

Great pics Nik. These are prime candidate for HDR. Have you experimented with HDR yet?

Hi Paul I had a little play but did not like the results I got. Although I have seen some HDR stuff that looks fab. Thanks for the comments guys

Many thanksI think with out looking at the exif that they were around 10 11 am ish there was a lot of cloud in the sky and the sun only came out now and then. In retrospect I should have been more patient and waited for some more sun I guess.

Fishing and Photography
Photography is just like fishing, you go out and just sit about waiting and hoping that the light will work for you otherwise you go back home with noting  . But every now and again the light works and you get your picture .
