I was out taking pictures of my car with my mums compact digicam and got distracted by the way the grass was moving in the foreground of the lighthouse. Tried to capture the sense of it by the angle.

Yeah, I played with the idea of having the lighthouse parallel to the edge of the shot but I kind of liked the slant in a sort of 'breezy' way - hard to describe! Wasn't sure bout cutting the edge of the grass off either but it seems to have kind of worked - cheers mate

I like it but would have liked a wider depth of field So the lighthouse was also sharp but I like the colours and the idea...

I like this one too. I bet it would look great at sunset with the warm evening colours on the grass and lighthouse. Although I would clown out that small white thing at top of lighthouse.

Great shot. I am not worried by the soft lighthouse, but I wish you hadn't cut of the top of the grass.

Cheers Rex

Amazing how taste varies!

I actually like the lighthouse being out of focus and all the focus being on the grass. Not sure about cropping the grass out of frame and would like to see another version to see if having the grass in did help or not.

Exposure really good and love the colour.

Nice job mate.
