I saw this church on the way to work this morning, and liked the shadow on the face of the church from the tree. That and the trees framing it. Never really tried bandw before. Comments please. many thanks.

I agree with the punchier point mate. I'm going to take Ogofmole's advice and try fiddling with the shot a bit.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

Had a little go adjusting the colours while viewing in grayscale and it does make a difference to the details on the bircks, although it's quite subtle so may not make much of a difference in jpg on a browser.

Good effort Paul, i like this shot all ways seems to work well with church's, i also convert from colour images.

I love black and white images.Thers just something about them that makes objects appear to be preserved in time. The beauty of objects also seem to be highlighted in Black and White. Love the shadows in your photograph.I think this could be spectacular if you had got a flat frontal view of the church rather than a perspective.
