Nice shot Len well balanced only comment bit tight at top where dome is would have left a bit more. Watched you grow last 18mth (with me as well) difference then to now poles apart mate.

Hi Dennis thanks for looking and commnents ; Couldn't leave more above dome without getting too much Tyne bridge in shot which would have distracted from swing bridge.

It has always been a difficult bridge to photograph as the Tyne Bridge dominates from that angle and the High Level Bridge from the other side.
There are (locked) steps down from the Swing Bridge to a long platform but I've never seen anyone working there - so have never seen a photo from a lower perspective.
