Photographers Comments
This was my attempt to re-create a postcard I saw which depicted the local town. The church is Sainte Catherine and the statue is Joan of Arc who once visited there. 5-shot HDR.

great HDR work here, good tones and nice viewpoint..it gives a very surreal feel to it, almost like a model village

Well well well Mr Cole.
A very pleasing image indeed. Great composition and great timing (no people). My initial viewing I really like it. If you want nit picky...
The problem with some HDR work is that tone mapping or even range recovery can thin the shadows a little bit. The shadows can have just that little bit too much lift and a tiny bit of image depth is lost. This is what I think may have happened here. Like I said its just a nit pic Andy, not an essential for such a splendid image. If the big red 'serious crit' had not been there I would not have mentioned it.
