Hello Dennis
I think these sort of subjects are not easy. What are you using to creat the HDR?I wonder if you could get more detail out of the dome panels either side of the best exposed one.I would like to try this up close to the stones, perhaps with a wide angle in portrait but then I'd miss the tree which is a nice balance to the dome. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Kenny

i dont have photoshop but assume the process is similar to paintshop pro which i use. You either take 3 identical shots but exposed, over exposed, and under exposed then merge in the editing software after overlaying exactly or:

take a raw shot then use raw software to produce three images from one, one correctly exposed, one over for highlights, one under for shadows. Then merge in your editing software and do final imaging editing.

Spooks seems to be the main man at this type of shot and i picked up the idea of just one shot and then make 3 exposures from him.

Have a portrait shot which i will post just to see if you think it works, i am not sure.

Thanks for the comments

Dennis
