Photographers Comments
Taken at the Black Country Museum. I took this one just before taking the one of the Miners wheel so you can see in this one how dark it was. The front of the cottage was lit by a big Halogen lamp though. No flash but long exposure. i rested my camera on an old style metal dustbin and used a timed shutter to help stop camera shake.

Hi Nik, well composed, pity about the electric cables and post otherwise you would have had a nicely dated photograph. Also would it be possible to tone down the main part of the building (to something like the outbuilding on the left) as this just seems to be too bright for the rest of the image. As I'm sure that this would improve it.

i like this shoot. i agree the light on the house would suit it better being a touch more subdued but i also like it like this too.....its really striking having such a bright light on it....maybe a darker sky would look better with the bright house??

cheers for sharing Nik

I really like this Nik,
Maybe as suggested knock the light on the house back a smidge and lighten the sky but retain the sky detail. Only minor suggestions...good image mate, nice one.
