This is White Ladies Priory near Cosford Shropshire. I used to play around this ruin when I was a kid aged about 7 8 9.

Hi Nik,
Great overall DoF, front to back sharpness and colour saturation. The light from behind the wall adding highlights to the brickwork behind adds depth as it shows through the arched windows. Good, dramatic skyline, however I would have possibly liked to have seen more of it, and maybe a little less grass at the foreground (Possibly crop 1/5th off bottom and add to skyline if original allows). And maybe to straighten it slightly, (it looks like it is running downhill from L - R)
Generally overall a great image.
Regards....Phil

Hello Nik,
I also like this photo but disagree that it needs to be straightened- the base of the wall on the left confirms this although I also would like more sky and less of the rough grass.
Thanks for your encouragement throughout this site.

i too think slightly less grass and a little more sky, sometimes using the black and white filter and pushing the reds up can add alot more drama to a image! i think this would suit the treatment well!
did you have a polorizing filter on?

Thanks for the comments guys yes I did have a PF on. The ruin does slope down to the right camera was spirit leveled I have other shots of this place but this is probably the most dramatic part of what is left.
Thanks again for the kind comments
