I have two bodies on me most of the time, one with a 17-55mm 2.8 which I use the most and another with the 70-200. I use big lens for a number things, detail shots, where I need the reach but mostly I use it for when I don't want to be noticed and be out of the way of the main crowd but be close enough to capture the real atmosphere of the occasion without the crazy photographer being noticed and no forced poses by people who feel they have too for some strange reason
